How do I use Keşke in ChatGPT? Ask in plain words, for example "With Keşke: if I had put 5,000 TL a month into gold since 2020, what would it be worth today?" The answer comes with a card; you can change the amount and dates in it.

Why does my number differ from another site's? Keşke uses TÜİK's monthly average levels: each payment buys at its month's average and is valued at the latest month's average. Sites that use daily or month-end prices, jewellers' buy-sell spreads, net deposit rates or dividends get different numbers.

When does the latest month appear? TÜİK publishes each month's figures in the first days of the following month (for example, September's in early October). Keşke picks them up on its own within a day.

Which data is used? TÜİK's "Finansal Yatırım Araçlarının Reel Getiri Oranları": gold bullion, the US dollar, the euro, the BIST 100, government bonds (from January 2005) and TL deposits, plus consumer prices, from January 1997.

Is this advice on what to buy? No. Keşke only shows what would have happened in the past. It is not investment advice.
